Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment

Tranquility Pools Texas is a pool service company in Washington, Texas. Booking a pool cleaning or calling about a failed pump should not depend on whether you can use a mouse, see the screen clearly, or hear an audio cue. We build this site so that the people who need our help can reach us, and we treat an access barrier the same way we treat a broken contact form: as a defect to fix, not a preference to weigh.

This statement is deliberately specific. A page that says only "we care about accessibility" tells you nothing you can act on. Below is the standard we build to, what we have verified, what we know is still wrong, and how to get a human to fix it for you.

The Standard We Build To

We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the benchmark referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act for public-facing websites. In practice that means the following are treated as requirements rather than enhancements:

  • Every image carries alt text that describes the image, not the filename.
  • Every page works from the keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
  • Interactive targets are at least 44 by 44 pixels, so they can be hit without fine motor control.
  • Text contrast meets AA ratios in every colour theme the site offers.
  • Headings run in order, so a screen reader can navigate by structure.
  • Form fields have real labels, not placeholder text standing in for one.
  • Motion and animation respect your operating system's reduce-motion setting.

What We Know Is Still Wrong

We audit this site rather than assume it passes, so we can name the open items. As of August 9, 2026 these are the gaps we have found and are working through:

  • The social sharing controls on blog articles respond to a mouse click but cannot yet be reached with the Tab key. Every article is fully readable without them, and the page URL in your address bar shares the same content.
  • A small number of fields on the contact form rely on surrounding text rather than a programmatic label. If a screen reader announces a field ambiguously, phone and email below reach the same people as the form.

We would rather publish this list than let you discover it alone.

Assistive Technology and Browsers

This site is built to work with current versions of screen readers including VoiceOver, NVDA and JAWS, and with browser zoom up to 200 percent without loss of content or function. It is tested in current versions of Safari, Chrome, Firefox and Edge on both desktop and mobile. If you use an older browser or a tool we have not named, tell us and we will test against it.

Report a Barrier, or Get Served Another Way

If any part of this site blocks you, contact us and we will both fix the page and take care of what you came here to do. You do not need to use the website to become a customer. We will schedule service, quote a job, or answer a question over the phone or by email.

Tell us the page address and what happened. We aim to respond within two business days, and we will tell you what we found and when it will be fixed, including when the answer is that it will take a while.

Scope and Review

This statement covers the pages published at https://www.tranquilpoolstx.com. It does not cover third-party services we link to, such as mapping or payment providers, whose accessibility we do not control. We review this statement whenever the site changes materially, and at minimum once a year. This statement is a description of our practice and is not legal advice.
